Dr. D.R. Ransdell holds degrees in Spanish, English as a Second Language, and Rhetoric and Composition. She is the director of English 101, 107, and 108. Her specialty is teaching writing to second-language students. Although she has taught in Mexico and Greece, she has been at the UA since 1998. She enjoys teaching writing because every student essay is a surprise!
